A surreal evening for me at a birthday party for one of our good friends who happens to also be the funeral arranger that managed my mums final journey. Everyone is here family friends and even the minister who conducted the service. And I’m not really sure how to feel. I was hoping to be strong enough to sing a tribute to mum this evening but surrounded by memories of our last goodbye I’m not so sure. I’ll sing it one day mum but I’ll take it slowly this evening see how it goes
