Hi, My wife was diagnosed with stage 4 Cancer in mid 2020, it had already spread to multiple organs and her pelvic bone by the time she was diagnosed, she was ill for about 15 months before she passed away on the 7th of July 2021, i was with her when she passed away in hospital, it was during the Covid pandemic and patients were not allowed normal visiting, this was very distressing for her and of course all the family, i was just so grateful to the palliative care team who allowed the family to sit with her in her final days, she was unresponsive for the last 2 days of her life, but i was grateful that i was allowed to be with her when she passed away, i can't begin to imagine how i would have felt if i had not been allowed to be with her at the end. 💔
