Some days I feel so selfish thinking that I’m the only one that is mourning the loss of my mom. The other day I posted an old video on my Facebook of my family singing happy birthday to me and you could hear my mom singing and laughing in the background. Her friend commented on my post and it hit me. Her friends lost her. Her sisters lost her. Her nieces and nephews lost her. Her children lost her. Her husband lost her. Her parents lost her. On the days I feel alone and missing her, I realize that I’m not the only one that lost her.
