When my dad started to really deteriorate, I started to think about ways that I could carry him with me everyday when he did pass. I grabbed his finger print just in case which I recognise is a very privileged position to be in when other people have lost their loved ones suddenly. I was lucky enough to have it made into a necklace that I wear every single day. While the grief still hurts, ever since Ive had this necklace return from the jeweller a week ago, I feel stronger. Does anybody else have things that they carry with them to remind them of their loved one?
