I’ve had a good day today, I got some jobs done and I had a sense of peace and achievement that I haven’t felt since Sam died. I watched a film with my husband and younger son and I enjoyed spending time with them. I’m noticing that although grief and sadness are always there in me, some days I can carry them more lightly.
