What do you do? How do you handle the grief when you’re around all your friends doing fun activities I asked this question to my sister. We lost our mom in 2001 and our dad almost 11 months ago Her response: I just don’t let it take over. I notice it, I acknowledge it and then just say I’ll put it away for now. I feel like I have to be able to do that. I can’t just stop my life every moment I feel a ping of pain. I’ve got meetings and social things. People don’t want to hang out with depressed people, it becomes a lot of work for them. I feel better when I can process alone or with a therapist. What do you think?
