I’m struggling this week as it’s two anniversaries very close together. On 12 July 2020 my husband had a seizure completely out of the blue and ended up being diagnosed with an aggressive stage 4 glioblastoma brain tumour. He battled it for 12 months having surgery, radiotherapy & chemotherapy but sadly the tumour returned and he lost his battle on 18 July 2021. As the first anniversary approaches I can’t believe how quickly that year has gone, but at the same time it has been the longest 12 months of my life. We had such an amazing life together - enjoying travelling and lots of fabulous experiences. Simon was the love of my life, best friend and soul mate. I miss him every second of every day.
