Hey… I’m here because I lost my dad to stage four prostate cancer on May 9, 2022. It was a very traumatic death. I saw things that no one should ever see their parents experience and the knowledge of what he endured and all the thoughts and what-ifs really keep me up at night. He was the one person who understood me and just got me. I feel the weight of his absence every moment of the day. I am only 32 and never expected to be without him this early in my life.
