Hello all, My name is Jesi, and I lost my mom on July 16, 2016 from an unexpected severe colon infection which got very complicated after the first time surgery she got because she had a stroke. She was in the ICU for 2 month and fought for her life until her organ began to fail her. After that all the doctors gathered my dad, my brother and I to make a decision to disconnect my mom because she was no longer breathing on her own. It’s been difficult for me to really talk about it lately especially when her anniversary of her passing is coming up. I’m glad I found this safe place.
