I lost my mum in April last year, she'd been fighting bile duct cancer for 2 years. Covid came and her chemotherapy treatment was stopped which caused the cancer to spread. I'm still feeling very numb after losing her. We always knew the day was coming due to the cancer being stage 4 and rare so treatments were limited but it still didn't prepare me for the emptiness I feel.
