I found the first photo of my Dad at my cousin’s wedding in June 2013. The second and third photos are from Father’s Day 2020. We spent two hours with him out on the patio. After this photo was taken. Dad gained back most of his weight and muscles. He was able to push himself up from his wheelchair. In October 2020 I was able to see him before our state was on a second shutdown. He was healthier and lively. I wished I had taken a photo of him then, though I hold that memory close to my mind and heart. This is the second father’s day without him, though it feels as if it's the first. The last father’s day was in 2020 and I was able to see him for the first time since my state was shut down at the beginning of March 2020. I never thought Father’s Day 2020 would be the last one to celebrate with him and my sister (and my service dog) I send you all gentle hugs and 💓💓💓 on this day for many of you. 💕 Sara and Rufus 🐾🐕‍🦺 (I am the one wearing the cactus mask. Rufus 🐾🐕‍🦺 is the service dog - standard poodle. My sister is in the back with our Dad. We couldn’t hug him.) 🌸✨🦋
