We're launching a free grief journalling course on Monday. Sign up using the button below. What is 'grief jouralling'? Grief journalling is the act of writing out your thoughts, feelings and memories as a way to support yourself in your grief. How does grief journalling help? 1. By learning to label our emotions, we're better able to notice how we're feeling. 2. Grief journalling helps us to lean in to our grief, particularly helpful if you've been feeling numb. 3. Friends and family are great, but they're not always there when you need them. Grief journalling can be done anywhere, any time. 4. Grief can feel so overwhelming and unchanging, but by documenting our thoughts and feelings, we're able to reflect on how it changes and evolves. How will the course work? After you sign up, you'll be added to a private group on Monday where you'll find your first exercise. Each exercise will include writing tips and a prompt. Exercises will be posted daily for 7 days. You can reply to the post with questions, comments and your own writing, if you wish. I will be on hand to offer further advice and will be happy to read any of your work privately too, if you wish. At the end of the course, we'll send you a further 100 grief prompts so you can carry on journalling at your own pace, to create a collection of writings to help support you in your grief.
