along with losing my dad almost 5 months ago, my grandma has just been put into end-of-life care. she’s 91 and she always lived in the lower flat of my mom’s duplex. my whole life until i moved out for college i lived with her and my mom has been her primary caretaker the last 6 years. i’ve been trying to find a way to get out of my dad’s memorial next saturday and the most fucked up thing is that it’s likely she may pass before then. whatever sick joke the universe is playing, it’s not funny 🙃
