i just got what i’m sure is unreasonably sad about the fact that my dad never met my kittens. like, they’re cats! it doesn’t matter if he met them or not! but i think i’m realizing now that they’re the closest thing to kids that i was ever going to have with him still around. the other day, i had a full breakdown about how i didn’t get to call him about a cool classic car that i saw. here’s the old man with the car he wished he could’ve owned, and his furry grandchildren ♥️ have y’all had a moment like that? like a really trivial thing that just set you off bc your person will never experience it with you?
