My best friend died Aug 9, 2021. He died from organ failure (liver & kidney failure) within 8 days of taking Rx painkillers for bruised ribs. He wasn’t well, and he went to ER 3x that week and was sent home twice. The 3rd time he never went home, and I didn’t get to say goodbye. There’s a 3rd party investigation pending w the hospital. They said nothing would’ve helped him. He was 54. 24 yrs ago we dated for a few yrs, but we were better off as best friends, and he became part of my family because he had lost both his parents. We talked almost daily. I miss him everyday and deal with anxiety & depression a lot. I don’t have anyone to talk to like I talked to him. I can’t drive with music bc it all reminds me of him. With him gone I feel like I have no friends, and my life sucks without him in it.
