I lost my lovely wife to cancer in December 2018. We had only just celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary in May 2017 and around 3 months later she was diagnosed. She had 12 cycles of chemotherapy, and we were absolutely sure she would be cured, but they found the cancer cells had got into her bones and when she went to our local hospice I realized it was too far gone. The stress of watching her suffering in appalling pain nearly drove we over the edge, and in September 2018 I had a second heart attack. It was very difficult watching a very intelligent, funny lady just fade away and seem to age 10 years.
